About Vision Zero

 Vision Zero is a street safety program which originally began in Sweden. Its goal is to reduce traffic deaths and serious injuries to zero. The initiative is focused on improving street design, increasing education, and implementing better policy.

About the Youth Council

We are a 100% student-led organization that works with local schools, non-profit organizations, and elected officials in the fight for street safety. We focus on educating youth on road safety and empowering them to become vocal advocates of the issue. The VZYC was born in New York City and can now be found in various cities across the world.
